The Power Of Lavender Oil

Try lavender oil! Lavender oil has stress relieving properties that works wonders. At the end of the day, run a hot bath, add epsom salt (+ if it’s lavender scented) and put in a few drops of lavender oil. They say about 10 is enough but I’m extra and do like 30. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Chill for about 30-40 minutes put on a podcast, the Esperanza Spalding Pandora station, or silence. Whatever helps you.


I also make an oil concoction (my skin doesn’t like lotions, so oils it is!) of avocado oil, almond oil (this one is good for fighting acne), and olive oil. (Try to steer away from coconut oil. It becomes solid at a certain temperature.) I add a bunch of lavender oil and use it to moisturize daily. (Add the oil TO the bath for a super luscious treat, and so you don’t have to moisturize after LOL). Using it to moisturize with daily is a natural stress reliever for me. It instantly soothes my mood and becomes a cathartic experience.



If you shower at night, this will really help you get some amazing zzz’s and if you shower in the morning, it will help you to start your day relaxed and decrease anxiety.


No lie, during super stressful moments of my life (like during my licensing exam) I carried lavender oil with me and put it on my wrists. Whenever I felt tension I would deeply inhale and release.
