Need a Morning boost?

Need a little bit more of an energy boost in the morning?
Try essential oils! When you hop in the shower, take some lemon, peppermint, or eucalyptus essentials oils and put a few drops in the shower with you. You can mix them together or try them separately. They all have invigorating properties and will for sure wake you up and help energize you a bit. The steam of the shower and the oils works wonders. It's almost like a mini spa treatment!
Wondering what brands of essential oils to use? My go-to is always Now Foods (No I don't get paid to say this LOL, however, hey, that would be cool!) You can purchase these at most Whole Foods and if you head to their website, you will be able to use their directory to see what local stores near you have their products in stock.
I also take a few drops in my hands and deep breath and/or rub it across my collarbones. I actually buy live eucalyptus and wrap it around my shower head as well. It’s 1. Super cute and 2. Super effective. You can find live eucalyptus in most Trader Joes, Whole Foods, flower stores or farmers markets. A bunch should cost you less than $10 and will last for about 1-2 months before the leaves start to dry out.
Not a morning shower person? All good. Take one of these essential oils and put it on tissue or gauze. Take some deep inhales. Carrying around the oil and some gauze with you throughout the day is a good way to get a boost anytime. The thing about putting the oils on a tissue/gauze is that once you’re tired of the scent, you can just throw it away. Versus putting it on your body and smelling like it all day.
